John Kramer

John Kramer is currently a trader at GSR, and they have held this position since October 2018. Prior to joining GSR, John was the Head of OTC & DeFi Trading at Consolidated Trading LLC from July 2016 to June 2018. In this role, John was responsible for building out liquidity capabilities and managing a complex book of risk in the digital asset spot, derivatives & on-chain markets.

Before their time at Consolidated Trading LLC, John worked as a Cryptocurrency Trader at Wellington Management from December 2015 to March 2016. During their time at Wellington Management, John worked on a Joint Research Practicum.

Prior to their work in the cryptocurrency industry, John worked as an FX Trading at Gelber Group LLC from June 2014 to August 2014.

John began their professional career as a Research Assistant at MIT AeroAstro - Laboratory For Aviation & The Environment from January 2012 to June 2015.

John Kramer received a Master's Degree in Finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. John also attended The Loomis Chaffee School.

John Kramer reports to Richard Rosenblum, Co-Founder and President. They work with Quentin Dubois - Trader, Hitesh Agrawal - Senior Infrastructure Engineer, and Pavlo Babkin - Risk Analyst.
