Youssef Awad

Youssef Awad is an experienced professional in business operations and finance, currently serving as Head of Business Operations at gtbeds and as Business Operations Lead at Layn since February 2025. Previously, Youssef held the roles of Growth Lead and Growth Hacker at Iqraaly, where active involvement in operations and growth was a key focus. Youssef's background includes experience as a Business and Financial Analyst, where financial models and cashflow analyses were developed, as well as an Accountant responsible for maintaining financial records and treasury functions. Further experience includes working as an Investment Associate at Glint Ventures, managing deal flow for investment opportunities, and interning at the CFTE, conducting legislative and cultural analysis in the fintech sector. Youssef holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration from London South Bank University and The British University in Egypt, respectively.
