Alex Matar

Alex Matar has extensive experience in sales and management within the mortgage and lending sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Sales in the Consumer Direct Division at Guaranteed Rate since October 2013. Matar has progressively held multiple senior positions within the same company, including Vice President of Sales and Senior Director of Sales. Prior to Guaranteed Rate, Matar was with Sterling Home Mortgage Corp from June 2004 to October 2013, where significant achievements included generating over $30 million in new business annually and successfully leading a team of Loan Officers. Matar's career began at Abstract Publishing Inc. as an Account Manager. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from Loyola University Chicago, completed in 2004.
