The Finance Manager at Guardz is a critical role, reporting to the CFO. This role oversees the financial reporting process, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and drives financial performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will deeply understand accounting principles, financial reporting and revenue recognition.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the accounting of Guardz’ operations and financial activities
  • Responsible for the coordination and preparation of statutory financial accounts and tax audits
  • Playing a key role in conducting financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support strategic decision-making and drive the company’s financial growth
  • Development and implementation of efficient workflow processes by streamlining accounting procedures
  • Leading and assisting in special ERP projects and automations
  • Ensuring accurate financial information by validating and implementing processes for collecting and reporting complete, relevant and timely financial data
  • Working with the company's external auditors and other consultants during interim and annual audits and ongoing issues as needed

Requirements:

  • CPA with experience in one of the Big 4 - must
  • 3+ years of experience as a Controller/Finance Manager in a startup company - must
  • Knowledgeable in accounting, taxation and annual reports
  • Former work with external accountants/payroll accountants  
  • Familiar with BvA (Budget Variance Analysis)
  • Experience with FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) is a plus 
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving attitude and ability to carry out tasks autonomously
  • Outstanding attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of integrity
  • Fluency in English - verbally and in writing
