Albab Dabela

Albab Dabela currently serves as Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel at Guggenheim Partners since January 2018, previously holding the title of Managing Director and Senior Counsel within the same organization. Additionally, Albab founded and organized the Gugsa Black Arts Collective from March 2019 to February 2025. Prior experience includes working as an Attorney at Standard Chartered Bank and holding various associate positions at notable law firms such as Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, Nixon Peabody LLP, and Skadden Arps. Albab Dabela earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology from Yale University, along with a General Course at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
