Shawn Chandler

Shawn Chandler serves as a Director at Guidehouse, focusing on providing expertise to address technology and operational challenges in the Western North America region. Chandler is a Council Member of the GridWise Architecture Council and has held various leadership roles within the IEEE Communications Society, including Associate Editor for the IEEE Internet of Things Magazine and Chair of the Internet of Things - Smart Cities Working Group. Additionally, Chandler chairs the Interoperability Task Force for the IEEE Blockchain for Energy Standard and has extensive experience as a Director for IT and business change roles at Berkshire Hathaway Energy and Navigant. Previous positions include steering committee leadership for IEEE Smart Cities and research at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Systems Science and several graduate certificates from Portland State University and Willamette University.
