Jimmy Leak

Jimmy Leak is an experienced professional in educational research, program evaluation, and consulting, currently serving as the Interim Director of Accountability, Research, and Evaluation at Guilford County Schools since November 2019 and as an Adjunct Professor at High Point University since June 2020. With a robust background in monitoring and evaluation for international development organizations, Leak has provided strategic guidance on education projects and developed comprehensive evaluation systems. Previous roles include significant positions at Nuru International, where Leak managed educational programs in Kenya and Ethiopia, and facilitated research and curriculum design. With a strong academic foundation that includes a Ph.D. in Education Policy from UC Irvine, Leak has contributed extensively to the field through teaching, consulting, and program management.
