Jalal Alqassab

Jalal Alqassab is a seasoned IT professional with over two decades of experience, currently serving as the Information Technology Director at Gulf Air since July 2002. In this role, Jalal oversees all IT management aspects, including solutions development, project management, IT governance, and infrastructure operations, leading a diverse team of 180 personnel. Prior to this, Jalal held the position of Head of IT Infrastructure at Gulf Air, where responsibilities included managing critical ICT operations and support services for over 3,000 users. Earlier experience includes serving as the Head of IT Business Development at Aluminium Bahrain, where Jalal managed significant IT projects across various business functions. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Internet Systems Development and a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science from the University of Portsmouth, along with a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain.
