Haziq Abbas

Haziq Abbas has over 22 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as a Network Engineer specializing in SDWAN, SASE, NFV, IP/MPLS, network security, DWDM, and OTN at Gulf Bridge International since January 2012. Previously, Haziq held the position of NOC Shift Leader, overseeing 24/7 operations for advanced terrestrial and submarine transmission networks. Prior experience includes serving as a Transmission Planning Specialist at Telenor Pakistan, where leadership of the Core Transmission Planning Engineers team was a key responsibility, and as Assistant Manager of Transmission Systems at Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd., focused on DWDM backbone projects. Haziq earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North West Frontier Province University of Engineering and Technology between 1995 and 2000.
