Cathy Hardin

Cathy Hardin serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Gwinnett County Public Schools since August 2022, specializing in Diversity & Inclusion and Strategic Human Resources Leadership. Prior to this role, Cathy held significant positions at Emory Healthcare, including System Vice President of Employee Relations & HRVP and Vice President of Human Resources, focusing on healthcare-related human resources initiatives. Cathy's experience also includes serving as Executive Director of Human Resources at DeKalb Medical, where oversight of strategic HR initiatives and workforce planning was a primary responsibility. Earlier roles include Employee Relations Leader at Northeast Georgia Health System and various HR leadership positions at Emory University. Cathy earned a BA in Communications from Southern University and A&M College and a Master of Science in Administration with a focus on Human Resources from Central Michigan University.
