Jason Smith

Jason Smith is an experienced professional in emergency services and management, currently serving as a Consultant at ShieldPoint Emergency Solutions since July 2025. Jason has a long-standing career with Gwinnett County Government, starting in February 2004 and rising through various fire service ranks to the position of Captain. Previously, Jason served as a Hydraulic Technician in the United States Air Force from August 1999 to August 2003 and began the firefighting journey as a Volunteer Firefighter in Peachtree City from October 1998 to August 1999. Jason holds a Master's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Oklahoma State University and is also equipped with a Bachelor's degree in Fire Services Administration and an Associate's degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting, along with military education from the Community College of the US Air Force.
