Elena V Komissarova

Elena V Komissarova, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist at The George Washington University since November 2019. Prior to this role, Elena served as an Officer of Research at Columbia University from 2010 to November 2019 and as a Research Scientist at NYU Langone Medical Center from May 1999 to 2010. Elena's early career includes experience as a Visiting Scientist at MD Anderson Cancer Center from 1997 to 1999. Educationally, Elena holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology/Experimental Oncology from the Cancer Research Center of the Russian Academy of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry from Moscow State University.
