Maged Abdel Gawad

Maged Abdel Gawad is a seasoned professional in payment operations and banking, currently serving as the Payment Operations Director at HALA since October 2025. Prior to this role, Maged held significant positions at Geidea, leading payments and banking operations across KSA, UAE, and Egypt, while also driving market expansion and securing regulatory licensing across MENA. Maged's experience includes a pivotal role at Energya Elsewedy Helal, where a digital transformation project was led to enhance payment solutions. Maged has also served at BNP Paribas as a Credit Operations Senior Officer and at Mashreq Bank as a Credit Operations Officer. Maged holds certifications including CertPAY, CTP, ETA CPP, CCPP, and CertDIF, and is pursuing an MBA in Banking from Edinburgh Napier University, expected to complete in March 2026, following a Bachelor's degree in MIS obtained from FAE.
