Daniela Barone Soares

Daniela Soares is an experienced CEO and independent non-executive director, with a background in strategy, leadership and change. Daniela has over 25 years of experience in the private, public and social sectors.

Daniela is currently an independent non-executive director at Halma plc. Daniela was previously the CEO of Granito Group, a financial advisory and strategic consulting firm that aims to accelerate the move to an Impact Economy. Prior to that, they were the Chair of Gove Digital, a social technology company that offers low cost solutions to the public sector and agencies interested in improving social services in Brazilian cities.

Before their work in the social sector, Daniela spent many years in the private sector as a consultant, helping companies such as Hg CAPITAL, a private equity firm, and CAREERS & ENTERPRISE Co., a UK government organisation, to design and implement growth strategies. Throughout their career, Daniela has been passionate about using their skills and experience to make a positive difference in the world.

Daniela Barone Soares has an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Harvard Business School. Daniela also has a BSc in Economics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Daniela is certified as a Fellow from Fundação Estudar and Instituto Ling.
