Laura Stoltenberg

Laura Stoltenberg is the Sector Chief Executive, Medical at Halma plc. Laura was previously the Vice President & General Manager, MDI Solutions at Medtronic from September 2014 to December 2018. In this role, Laura provided leadership for new business unit focused on diabetes patients on insulin injections. Laura has global responsibility for strategy development, portfolio management, product development and commercial execution initiatives. Laura is also responsible for the financial accountability of revenue through contribution margin to EBIT. Laura successfully launched stand-alone continuous glucose monitor (CGM), Guardian Connect, Medtronic's entry into a$1B high-growth market. Additionally, Laura is leading IBM Watson Health partnership for diabetes AI development, marketed as Sugar.IQ. These are innovative coaching and services solutions aimed to improve patient engagement, behavior modification and outcomes. Laura is a regular presenter to executive leadership, board of directors, industry analysts and press.

Prior to Medtronic, Laura was a Board Member at Rowheels, Inc. from January 2014 to January 2017. Laura was also an Executive Advisor at Private Equity and the Founder & Principal at Vitae Advisors LLC from September 2013 to August 2014.

Laura Stoltenberg has a MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS & BA in Electrical Engineering & Management from Bucknell University. Laura also attended Fairfield High School.
