Tyler Chidester

Tyler Chidester has a diverse work experience in engineering and design. Tyler recently joined 1X as a Technical Lead and Mechanical Engineer, where they focus on designing mechanical assemblies and developing robotic solutions for automating repetitive human tasks. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineering Consultant at TrickAir LLC., responsible for CAD models, fixture design, and technical drawings for performance snow skis. Tyler also served as an Industrial Engineer at Linear Labs Inc. From 2012 to 2020, Tyler worked at Mayday MFG, holding multiple roles including Manufacturing Engineer, CNC Programmer, and Production Support. Tyler was involved in various responsibilities such as fixture design, CNC programming, and implementing manufacturing processes for precision aerospace components. In addition, Tyler worked as a self-employed Engineering Consultant, collaborating with a professional electrical engineer to design a peristaltic pump flavor dispensing device. Tyler also contributed to Solar Logic as an Engineering Consultant, improving designs for a high-efficiency solar turbine and reducing costs significantly.

Tyler Chidester obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Texas between 2012 and 2017.
