Chad King

Chad King, CPL, currently serves as the AVP & Trust Manager for Specialty Asset Management at Hancock Whitney, a position held since August 2019. Prior roles include Operations Coordinator at the City of Beaumont and Operations Manager at Southern Brush Pipeline Services. As a Petroleum Landman at J. Mark Smith & Associates from 2007 to 2016, Chad conducted extensive research on mineral rights and surface ownership and handled lease negotiations and client relations. Chad's early career includes serving as District Field Manager for Congressman Ted Poe and working as a paralegal at Adams & Coffey P.C. Chad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Lamar University.
