Clemens Dasenbrock is an accomplished veterinary professional with extensive experience in toxicology and environmental hygiene. Currently serving as a pensioner since November 2020 and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Hannover Medical School since 2002, Clemens previously held leadership roles at Fraunhofer ITEM, including Division Director of Toxicology & Environmental Hygiene from 2008 to 2018, where responsibilities encompassed managing experimental toxicology projects focused on drug safety and environmental agents. Previous positions include Director of In vivo Toxicology II at Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH & Co. KG, as well as various roles at Fraunhofer ITEM since 1985, including Deputy Head of the Department of Toxicology & Environmental Hygiene. Clemens holds multiple veterinary certifications and advanced degrees, including a postdoctoral lecture qualification in Experimental Oncology from Hannover Medical School and a Diplomate qualification in Laboratory Animal Science.
