Hans Henson

Hans is a partner at Hanold Associates where he focuses on the recruitment of HR executives across industries including Learning and Development, Talent Management, HRBP, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

Prior to joining Hanold Associates, Hans was a senior recruiter with McKinsey & Company. In this role, he was a full-cycle recruiter within McKinsey’s SHaPE (Social Healthcare & Public Entities) Practice.

Prior to McKinsey & Company, Hans was in executive search where his experiences include 8+ years with a focus on C-suite roles within healthcare and technology. Hans has recruited from a broad range of corporate officer roles including CEOs, CFOs, CHROs, COOs and CMOs and those more specific to the Healthcare sector including Chief Medical Officers and Chief Nursing Officers. Some of his key clients included Kaiser Permanente, Healthcare Corporation of America (HCA), UW Health, University of Chicago Medicine and Healogics.

Hans earned his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and History from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. During his time at Westmont, Hans was a 4-year varsity athlete on the track and field team competing in the decathlon and serving as team captain. During his sophomore year, he studied abroad in Queretaro, Mexico.

Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Hans enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons and two dogs (a Pomeranian and Miniature Australian Shepherd). Hans is a fan of all major sports and plays club ice hockey. He enjoys taking improv comedy classes at ComedySportz Milwaukee.
