Dan Willows

If you’re looking for a true Pacific Northwest grocery guy and a top trade and vendor consultant, Dan is your guy. He’s our guy, too. As Harbor’s Director of Procurement & Vendor Marketing his passion for helping independent retailers thrive in the marketplace is unmatched. Dan directs a resourceful and savvy team of 19, comprised of Category Managers, Buyers, and Analysts who are committed to creating great programs to optimize all the latest consumer trends for our customers. The most important elements to Dan as a leader of one of Harbor’s largest departments is that every person has the opportunity to reach their potential for excellence, with integrity and transparency being the daily glue among a talented, diverse, and varied team.

With an academic background in computer science, Dan’s work experience started in retail (Safeway, Olson’s) and continued in distribution with leadership roles at Associated Grocers, Unified Grocers, and Northwest Grocers.

When not at work thinking up great marketing ideas, Dan and his wife Diane can be found enjoying an active outdoors lifestyle visiting the various destination that the Northwest offers while occasionally traveling abroad.
