Yoonho Choi is corporate president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Samsung Electronics. He leads the Corporate Management Office, which encompasses the company's Corporate Finance, Corporate Strategy, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Global Public Affairs, Auditing, Operations, and Legal departments. Prior to being appointed CFO, Choi served as corporate executive vice president, overseeing the management of Samsung Electronics' affiliate companies. In this role, he focused on enhancing synergy between businesses and identifying opportunities throughout Samsung's business portfolio. Choi joined Samsung Electronics in 1987 and has held various leadership positions, including CFO of Samsung Electronics Europe and Head of Financial Management of the Samsung Mobile Communications Business Division. During his time with the Mobile Communications Business Division, he drove business innovation and enhanced operational efficiency, resulting in Samsung Electronics becoming an industry-leading Mobile company. Choi's efforts in financial risk management and accelerating profitable growth have greatly contributed to Samsung's market leadership. He is also credited with implementing robust and sustainable growth plans, including Samsung Electronics' approach for strategic investments. Choi holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, Korea.
