Rachel Rivera is currently a Senior Interviewer at the Yale University Office of Undergraduate Admissions and a Student Researcher at the Natarajan Lab within the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, focusing on atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease risk prediction models. Since May 2023, Rachel has also served as a Patient Navigator at HAVEN Free Clinic, assisting Spanish-speaking patients in achieving their medical and social goals. Additionally, Rachel is an Undergraduate Researcher at the Yale University School of Medicine's LusKing and Bender Labs, investigating mRNA degradation mechanisms related to hypertension. Other roles include volunteering at the Hypertension Awareness and Prevention Program and Yale New Haven Hospital, and serving as an Admissions Fellow with HelloAO and an Advising Fellow with Matriculate. Rachel held the position of Secretary for the Yale University Research Association, supporting the student community in research-related endeavors. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University, Rachel is set to graduate in May 2025.
