Diane Janowiak

Diane Janowiak, MT(ASCP), is hc1’s senior director of client solutions. She is responsible for ensuring the healthcare organizations that rely on hc1 solutions achieve their goals by providing insights into market analysis, product positioning, and solution development. Her 27+ years working in the reference and acute care laboratory settings have made her a go-to thought leader on driving quality and efficiency in all areas of healthcare, all while grounding her success in low-cost, high-quality care.

Diane, a CAP inspector, understands the day-to-day challenges and pain points—which are exacerbated by increased demands and changes to healthcare delivery that makes it difficult to make all the puzzle pieces fit—facing laboratory leaders and offers solutions to enhance lab quality and efficiency. Her experience encompasses all areas of the lab, including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, microbiology, transfusion medicine, toxicology, molecular diagnostics, donor testing, cytology, and histology. Prior to joining hc1, Diane was the vice president of laboratory operations for the South Bend Medical Foundation, where she provided management and oversight of all clinical departments, implemented innovative testing technologies, negotiated contracts, established budgets, and provided efficiency through IT solutions and strategic automation.
