Mr. Arvind Kapil has been elevated to Country Head - Retail Assets at HDFC Bank.

As Retail Assets Head, Mr. Kapil heads the bank’s entire Retail Lending franchise which comprises Unsecured Loans portfolio, Auto Loans business, Loans against Property, Two-wheeler Loans, Retail Working Capital Loans, Gold Loan, Loan against Shares, Microfinance, Home Loans, and Business Loans, among others.

An integral part of the bank’s growth journey for over 21 years, Mr. Kapil has introduced industry leading innovations that offer unparalleled convenience using technology as an enabler. These include arguably the fastest loan in the world, the 10 Seconds Personal Loan, apart from Digital Loan against Securities, and Digital Loan against Mutual Funds, among others.

An alumni of Harvard Business School, he successfully completed an Advanced Management Program (AMP) from HBS; Master’s Program in Management of Global Enterprises jointly from IIM B, UCLA Anderson and SDA Bocconi and City University; Masters in Management Studies from Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management Studies and Research; and B.E. from K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering
