Shaheen Uppal

Shaheen Uppal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and enforcement within Health Canada, serving as a Senior Corporate Regulatory Compliance & Enforcement Advisor since March 2017. Previous roles in Health Canada include Regulatory Project Manager and Acting Senior Regulatory Project Manager, where Shaheen provided guidance on regulatory processes and supported staff in communications and issue resolution with various stakeholders. Prior to this, Shaheen gained experience as a Human Resources Assistant at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and held various positions in research and customer service, including roles at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and TD. Shaheen holds a Master of Science in Management with a focus on Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour from Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University, along with a Bachelor of Science with specialization in Cellular/Molecular Biology from the University of Ottawa.
