Mikil Taylor

Mikil Taylor has a diverse work experience. Mikil started their career at Liberty Mutual Insurance as an Actuarial Intern in 2010. Mikil then worked at Towers Watson as an Actuarial Analyst, where they had various responsibilities within the Retirement division and passed several actuarial exams.

In 2012, Mikil joined Healthcare Bluebook as a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst, where they used SQL, Excel, and Python to answer questions from all departments. Mikil later became the Manager of Healthcare Analytics, where they supported analytic and data management functions and served as the team lead for Market Analytics. Mikil then became the Director of Analytics from 2018 to 2019 and eventually the VP of Data Science & Analytics in January 2020. In this role, they were responsible for strategic management and development of the data asset and finding new ways to leverage the existing medical and pharmacy claims data to deliver actionable information to consumers.

Apart from their work in the healthcare industry, Mikil also worked as an Adjunct Professor of Business at Lipscomb University starting in August 2020. Mikil recently published a book called "The Beginner's Guide to Managing", which provides a how-to guide for first-time managers.

In addition to their professional achievements, Mikil was also the General Manager at WRVU from 2009 to 2010.

Mikil Taylor completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, attending from 2007 to 2011.
