Krista Zodet

Ms. Krista Zodet serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the HealthWell Foundation. Ms. Zodet is responsible for developing the long-term direction of the organization in collaboration with the board and for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the organization’s operations, programs, and staff.

Ms. Zodet has been a member of the Foundation’s management team for over 17 years. In alignment with the Foundation’s strategic plan, Ms. Zodet is responsible for compliantly broadening HealthWell’s capacity to better support its mission through funding diversification and innovative patient support. As a passionate and dedicated patient advocate, she works diligently to ease patient burden and mitigate stress through the Foundation’s transparent, patient-focused, program and streamlined processes. Ms. Zodet is committed to maintaining the positive work environment she established in 2013 upon becoming President that focuses on employee growth and development while maintaining healthy work-life integration to ensure solid bench strength supporting a robust succession plan.

With a life sciences background spanning almost 30 years, Ms. Zodet has experience educating others on how to navigate complicated health care systems, including Medicare beneficiary programs; working with a team of health care professionals to design, implement and report on quality improvement projects with hospitals; helping people navigate the health care system and access their medicines through patient assistance programs; and providing strategic guidance regarding program design, emerging industry or product trends, opportunities for service enhancements and new services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

Ms. Zodet received a master’s degree in Social Work with a Specialist Certificate in Aging and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.
