Alexandre Antunes is a Senior Aerodynamics & Thermodynamics Engineer at Heart Aerospace since December 2021. Previously, Alexandre served as an Assistant Professor at UNIVAP from August 2020 to December 2021, teaching Aircraft Design and Aviation Safety. Alexandre's extensive experience at Embraer, spanning over a decade, includes roles as a Product Development Engineer in both the Chief Engineer Office and R&D Department, focusing on aerodynamic activities, the Laminar Flow Project, and managing the MDO group. Earlier experience includes a researcher position at VSE and substantial work in CFD and aerodynamic analysis at Embraer from 2000 to 2010. Alexandre holds a Doctorate in Computer Science and a Master's Degree in Aerodynamics from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
