JP Schmidt

JP Schmidt is the current Chief Commercial Officer at Helius Therapeutics. Prior to this, JP was with Housing New Zealand Corporation as a Senior Partnering Manager and before that with Hawkins Construction Ltd as Executive Vice President Hawkins Construction Guam.

JP has over 20 years of experience in strategic management, construction, and business development. JP has a proven track record in developing and implementing strategies that have resulted in successful outcomes for organizations.

JP is a strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and develop creative solutions to problems. JP is an excellent communicator and has the ability to build relationships with people at all levels. JP is a strong leader with the ability to motivate and inspire people to achieve their best.

JP Schmidt's educational career includes being a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand and a Bachelor of Property from Auckland University, New Zealand.

JP Schmidt reports to Paul Manning, Chief Executive Officer. They work with Bruce Wallace - Chief Quality Officer, Dr Jim Polston - Chief Science Officer, and Carmen Doran - Chief Operating Officer. Some direct reports include Lee Smith - Head of Security, Lohsing Cheng - Project Manager, Construction.
