Jimmi Langemo

Jimmi Langemo serves as the Director of Equity and Human Resources for the City of Brooklyn Center since December 2022, where the focus is on leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives alongside human resources responsibilities. In addition, Jimmi holds the position of Chief Administrative Officer at Hennepin Theatre Trust since February 2016, managing various departments and spearheading the organization's DEI strategy. As an independent consultant since March 2009, Jimmi specializes in DEI, leadership development, and project management. Music is also a passion, with Jimmi as the lead singer and songwriter for Jimmi and the Band of Souls, performing in the genres of Blues, R&B, and American Roots music. Furthermore, Jimmi has held several consulting roles, including Senior Consultant at Delaney Consulting and Diversity Consultant at Stir Fry Seminars. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in English from Minnesota State University Moorhead, obtained between 1987 and 1992.
