Kerry Degen

Kerry Degen is a seasoned professional in emergency medical services with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief of EMS and Manager of Education at Hennepin Healthcare since December 2020, Degen has also been a Flight Paramedic with Life Link III since January 2011. Previous positions include Department Chair, Faculty, and Program Director for Paramedicine and EMS at St Cloud Technical and Community College from August 2012 to December 2020, and instructor/faculty at Century College from October 2001 to December 2012. Additional experience includes working as a Paramedic at Ridgeview Medical Center between February 2009 and October 2012, and as Manager of Quality Assurance and Education at Lakes Region EMS from April 1998 to January 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Minnesota State Moorhead, a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Bethel University, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Paramedicine from Century College.
