Ernst Peter Hovinga

Ernst Peter Hovinga has extensive work experience in the technology, communications, and sales industries. Ernst Peter began their career in 1998 as a Sales Support Manager for Direktbank. In 1999, they became a Sales & Marketing Manager for Frog Navigation Systems. From 2001 to 2006, they held various positions at KPN/Xantic, including Director Sales, Sr International Sales Manager, and International Sales Manager. From 2006 to 2010, they were the Vice President of Global Sales at GE Satcom and Vice President of EMEA & Global Carrier Sales at Stratos. From 2010 to 2013, they were the Chief Commercial Officer and General Manager of NSSLGlobal Continental Europe. From 2016 to 2019, they served as the CEO and Co-founder of Hiber, as well as an Advisor and Member of the Board of Advisors for FLICQ and Green Wheel Technology. Ernst Peter is currently the Managing Director of Hovinga Ventures, providing consultancy, (interim) general-, commercial- & project- management for organizations.

Ernst Peter Hovinga received their MSc in Economics from the University of Groningen between 1989 and 1996. Prior to that, they attended Eldorado High School from 1988 to 1989, where they studied Spanish, American Literature, American History, Journalism, and Commericial Arts. Ernst Peter also attended Stedelijk Gymnasium Haarlem from 1982 to 1988.
