Takashi Kangas

Research Scientist at HiberCell

Takashi Kangas has a wealth of experience in the field of research science. Takashi began their career as an Animal Care Technician at the University of Minnesota in 2003. Takashi then progressed to Junior Scientist and Assistant Scientist roles at the same university, where they studied Type I diabetes and Spinocerebellar ataxia 5, 8 and Myotonic Dystrophy. In 2011, they moved to Syntiron as a Research Associate and Animal Specialist, where they were involved in the development of human vaccines for bacterial infections. From 2014 to 2017, Takashi worked at Biothera Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Research Scientist and Research Associate, where they were responsible for performing clinical sample testing in a regulated GLP/GMP-compliant work environment and assisting in the development of bioassays. Finally, they have been a Research Scientist at HiberCell since 2020.
