The board of directors at Hilltop Holdings has a long and varied history, with members coming from a wide range of industries and educational backgrounds. Some of the companies that the board members have come from include Elevate, Dell, Applied Materials, and CBIZ. The board members have also been involved with T Bank N.A., Sanders Morris Harris, Tectonic Financial, Inc., and M.D. Anderson hospital. The president/owner of Self-employed is also a member of the board. In terms of education, the board members have attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Baylor University, Colorado School of Mines, and SMU.
