Craig Martindale

Craig Martindale is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience at Hiscox, currently serving as Group Chief Actuary since July 2009, leading a team of 50 in reserving and capital management. Martindale has held multiple significant positions within the company, including Interim Chief Investment Officer and Group Head of Capital Management, demonstrating expertise in investment strategy and capital usage. Prior to his tenure at Hiscox, Martindale worked at Deloitte as a Manager, focusing on capital modeling projects, and at Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow as an Associate managing investment-related presentations. Additionally, Martindale is involved with the Hiscox Foundation, serving as a Trustee and Director. Martindale holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
