Karene Tastad

Karene Tastad is a Design Engineer at HistoSonics, Inc. since March 2024, previously serving as a Product Support Engineer II and I at Medtronic from September 2020 to March 2024, where responsibilities included technical troubleshooting and product launch support. Earlier experience includes a Medical Affairs Intern role at Cardiovascular Systems, Inc., analyzing clinical data related to image-guided treatments, and various leadership positions at Engineering World Health - UMN, including Secretary and Chair of Alumni Relations. Karene also worked as a Math Tutor at Mathnasium and gained practical engineering experience as an Assembly Line Worker at Energy Solutions International, Inc. Karene holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
