Rajashekhar Sankati has a diverse work experience in the field of reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety analysis. Rajashekhar started their career at the Defence Research and Development Organisation, where they performed detailed reliability analysis for Air to Air missile systems. Rajashekhar then worked at GE as a Reliability Engineer, where they provided analysis support for various applications and developed statistical models using historical data. After that, they joined Covidien as a Senior Reliability and Risk Management Engineer, where they focused on implementing reliability tools and leading Design for Reliability activities for medical devices. Following their time at Covidien, they worked at ReliaSystem Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd as a Principal RAMS Consultant, where they were responsible for preparing documents related to RAM and safety across the system lifecycle. Their role also involved developing RAM and safety deliverables such as plans, reports, and case development. Most recently, they joined Doha Metro as a Consortium Senior RAMS Engineer, where they guided subsystems on RAM, safety, and EMC activities and prepared system deliverables. Currently, they are working at Hitachi Rail as a Network integration RAM Lead.
Rajashekhar Sankati holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Reliability Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Rajashekhar also holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Kakatiya University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. In addition, Rajashekhar has certifications as a Certified Reliability Engineer from ASQ, obtained in 2013, and as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from GE Power & Water, obtained in 2011.
