Arya Rohani

Arya Rohani is a transportation and mobility expert with over 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors. Arya is currently the Intelligent Transportation Emerging Mobility Practice Leader at HNTB, where they are responsible for championing technology innovation for public sector clients.

Previously, Arya served as the Chief Technology Strategist at Stantec, where they led new and disruptive technology initiatives, including automotive cloud service offerings, high touch consulting services, and innovative business models. Under their leadership, Stantec became a leader in the application of IoT and intelligent cloud services to solve complex city and mobility challenges.

Prior to joining Stantec, Arya worked as a Principal Innovation Consultant at Advanced Mobility Group (AMG), where they drove digital transformation strategies by leveraging their unique 360 degree perspectives gained through public sector, technology and consultant company experience.

Arya holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from California State University San Marcos.

Arya Rohani has obtained an MBA from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business, with a focus in Information Technology & Marketing. Additionally, Arya Rohani holds an Executive Education Certificate from Harvard University in Smart Cities: Building Better Cities in the Digital Age. Arya Rohani's educational background also includes a BSCE in Structural Engineering from the University of Florida, as well as Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) and Professional Engineer (PE) certifications from Cisco and the State of California, respectively.

Arya Rohani reports to Rob Slimp, Chairman & CEO. They work with Mark Dunton - Interim Chief Information Officer, Sanja Zlatanic - Tunnel Services Practice Leader, and Diana Mendes - President of Infrastructure & Mobility Equity.
