Chris Franz

Chris Franz is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in project management and engineering design. Currently serving as Section Manager at HNTB since November 2025, Chris previously held the role of Project Manager at HWC Engineering from February 2022 to November 2025. Prior to that, Chris worked as a Civil Engineer at DLZ Corporation for nearly a decade and as a Project Engineer at Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. and A&Z Engineering, LLC, where responsibilities included designing and analyzing various civil projects such as sanitary sewer systems, water distribution networks, and roadway design. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Trine University, obtained in 2006.
