Hanno van der Loo

Hanno van der Loo is an experienced editor-in-chief and publisher at Uitgeverij Sportgericht since January 1994, concurrently serving as an editor and sport science consultant at AdPhys since March 1996. Hanno has a robust teaching background, holding positions as a lecturer and assessor at Atletiekunie since 1994 and at Stichting Opleidingen Sportgezondheidszorg since 2005, specializing in exercise physiology and physical training theory. Hanno contributes to the Master program in Performance, Sport and Health as a guest teacher at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences since 2023 and has supervised undergraduate theses at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from March 2021 to July 2023. Additional roles include coordinating the expertise area 'Training' at NOC*NSF from July 2017 to June 2019, guest lecturing at Hogeschool Utrecht from 2002 to 2019, and lecturing on project management at De Haagse Hogeschool from 2014 to 2018. Hanno is also a vocalist, lyricist, theatre maker, and performer at Hanno zingt since August 2007. Hanno holds a Master's degree in Human Movement Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
