Chris Murphy

Chris Murphy, CPCU, CSP, CRM, CIC, currently serves as Vice President of Commercial Risk & Safety at Holmes Murphy & Associates since October 2020. Prior experience includes a role as Sr. Technical Consultant for Workers' Compensation & Development at Nationwide Insurance from January 2017 to October 2020, where responsibilities involved leading workers' compensation strategy, managing trainee programs, and conducting risk assessments. Previously, Chris worked at EMC Insurance Companies from March 2002 to January 2017, holding positions as Program Development Manager, Senior Engineer, and Engineer, focusing on loss control, compliance, and continuous process improvement. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University in 2001.
