James Buck

James Buck is a Principal Engineer and ADAS Test Technical Specialist at HORIBA MIRA since April 2020, providing expert consultancy within the Assured CAV ecosystem and specializing in ADAS and autonomous driving physical test methodologies. Previously, James served as a Technical Delivery Lead at Zenzic, overseeing two government-funded CAM interoperability projects. Prior experience includes a Senior Project Engineer role at AB Dynamics, where James developed in-vehicle driving robots and trained over 100 ADAS test engineers globally. James began academic research as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at The University of Nottingham, focusing on innovative thermal energy storage devices. James holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
