James Halstead

James Halstead has extensive experience in the automotive engineering field, currently serving as Manager & Chief Engineer for Vehicle Architectures and Structures at HORIBA MIRA since January 2001. In this role, James oversees Attribute Integration, Architectures & Design, CAE/FEA, and Prototype Build capabilities. Previous positions at HORIBA MIRA include Chief Engineer for Vehicle Attributes, where James was responsible for leading design and engineering delivery for electric vehicle start-ups, and Manager of Integrated Technologies Build and Operations. James began the automotive career as an Apprentice at Land Rover, focusing on Advanced Vehicle Technologies from 1996 to 2001.
