Jessica Andres Bergos

Jessica Andres Bergos, PhD, CCRP, currently serves as Senior Director of Clinical Research & Strategic Operations for Regenerative Medicine & Biologics at the Hospital for Special Surgery, a role undertaken since June 2016. In this position, Jessica leads the strategic direction for cell therapies and orthobiologics, focusing on integrating innovative research into clinical practice to enhance patient outcomes. Prior roles at the same institution included Director and Associate Director of Clinical Research, where Jessica established a specialized Center for Regenerative Medicine and managed a diverse portfolio of clinical trials. Jessica's research background includes elucidating epigenetic mechanisms in stem cell differentiation during a postdoctoral fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine and investigating molecular interactions in osteoarthritis during a PhD at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Education credentials include a post-doctoral degree from Cornell University and a PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biomedicine.
