David Beach

SVP - Chief HR Officer at Hospital Sisters Health System

David Beach has extensive work experience in human resources and leadership roles. David started their career as a Senior Labor Relations Specialist at Meijer in 1988 and worked their way up to Director of Human Resources, where they designed and implemented strategies for issue-free operations and managed employee relations. In 2001, they became Vice President of Human Resources at Meijer, responsible for developing and delivering talent selection and development processes for Retail Operations. In 2003, they took on the role of Director of Workforce Planning and Development, leading talent management and succession planning practices for over 62,000 team members. David later became the Vice President of Workforce Planning and Development and Vice President of Talent Development and Organizational Capability at Meijer, where they focused on strategic direction, performance management, talent acquisition, and diversity and inclusion. In 2010, they joined Spectrum Health as the Vice President of Human Resources before becoming the Chief Human Resource Officer at Hospital Sisters Health System in 2015. Throughout their career, David Beach has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on talent development and organizational success.

David Beach attended the University of Michigan, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and English. Later, from 2012 to 2015, they pursued further education at the College of the Holy Apostles and obtained a Master's Degree in Moral Theology/Bioethics.
