Renu Sud Karnad

Renu Sud Karnad is the Managing Director of the Corporation. She joined the Corporation in 1978 and was appointed as the Executive Director of the Corporation in 2000, re-designated as the Joint Managing Director of the Corporation in October 2007. Ms. Karnad has been the Managing Director of the Corporation with effect from January 1, 2010. Ms. Karnad is a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of Directors, Risk Management Committee, and IT Strategy Committee. Ms. Karnad is currently the President of the International Union for Housing Finance (IUHF), an association of global housing finance firms.

Ms. Karnad holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Mumbai. She is a Parvin Fellow – Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University, USA. She is an expert in finance, economics, sales & marketing, human resources, and risk management. She has vast experience in housing finance, real estate, and the infrastructure sector.
