Jenny C. Chang, MB.ChirB., MD, MCHM, is the President and CEO of the Houston Methodist Academic Institute and serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer at Houston Methodist. Currently overseeing research and education programs, they focus on translating scientific discoveries to patient care and educating future healthcare professionals. Jenny earned their Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Cambridge and holds a Bachelor of Science from St. Andrews University. With extensive experience in oncology, they have contributed significantly to understanding cancer stem cell therapy resistance and have been recognized with the Academic Institute’s President’s Award for Excellence in Transformational Research in 2023.
