Dave Freund possesses extensive experience in quality assurance and training within the food industry. At George J. Howe Company, since September 2013, Dave has focused on quality assurance in the manufacturing and distribution of coffee, candy, and nut products. Prior to this role, from July 1993 to June 2013 at Vocelli Pizza, Dave served as Director of Training and Research & Development, overseeing corporate training programs, new franchisee training, management training, food safety certification, and the documentation of operational procedures. Dave also directed the R&D for menu items and operations during this tenure. Educationally, Dave Freund is a graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, completing studies from 1986 to 1992.
