Alexander Lu

Alexander Lu, CFA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Executive Director at HPS Investment Partners, LLC, focusing on asset management within a leading global, credit-focused investment firm since September 2023. Previously, Alexander co-founded and held the position of Managing Partner at Ortelius Alternative Investment Management from 2016 to September 2023, overseeing an activist hedge fund that invests in North American public equities. Prior experience includes co-founding Ortelius Ventures, a private equity vehicle dedicated to the U.S., from 2012 to 2015 and serving as Senior Analyst at Ortelius Capital Partners from 2007 to 2011, specializing in fund of funds investments.
