David Lehman

David Lehman is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners, LLC since June 2023. Previously, Lehman was the Commissioner at the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development from February 2019 to January 2023. A substantial part of Lehman's career was spent at Goldman Sachs, where Lehman held the positions of Partner and Managing Director in Fixed Income Trading, Real Estate Finance, and Municipal Finance from March 2004 to February 2019. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Lehman worked as a Vice President at Deutsche Bank in Fixed Income Trading and as an Analyst and Associate at Morgan Stanley. Lehman holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Washington and Lee University, completed in 1999, and graduated from Montgomery High School in 1995.
